Unprecedented Times

Hello Saints Family,
First off I hope that you and your families are doing well, staying safe and most importantly healthy. These times are hard to deal with but we must stay positive and keep pushing forward one day at a time.Everyone in the youth sport community is feeling the impact of COVID-19. Events and competitive seasons at all sport levels are being canceled/postponed. Athletes, coaches, parents, and sport stakeholders are scrambling to develop contingency plans. With no events to cover, No fundraising to develop, it is a scary and uncertain time for us.Media sources are focusing on the Coronavirus pandemic, which could be further exacerbating everyone’s concerns/fears. Fortunately, our organization is switching gears and helping to mitigate the effects of this extremely fluid situation through different ways of communication for our families, finding ways to pay the bills, keep our complex up and running by selling unneeded assets, online support and community support. We here at the Woodbridge Golden Saints want to help in anyway possible and we want to keep our kids motivated as well.We will be opening up our Banquet Registration pricing to our community for the next month or so to help mitigate the financial problems we are all experiencing. The Registration fee for regular tackle football and cheer will only be $75.00 for the time being. This may be a hardship on the organization but we also want to let everyone know "we get it" and help out with our families as well during this unprecedented time as it is real for all of us. I know that our families will come together and help each other during these trying times.We have made some unbelievable strides so far for the upcoming season. The Family oriented program is real here and it will be felt everywhere from board members to coaches parents and players. Putting the right people in the best spots is key for our youth. I hope to see you all real soon.The emotional and physical rollercoaster is real for us and our kids. Keep them motivated and positive.I hope you will help us out if you can for the food drive that we are getting together for our local food pantries as they are struggling during this. Let's help out the families in need.
